It's the same drug but it still sucks that now I have to take yet another pill every day. For the first 2 weeks I experienced nausea and upset stomach until my body adjusted.

Most doctors aren't just prescribing those shots for people who want to lose 10 lbs. They're prescribing them to people with PCOS, prediabetes, insulin resistance, and other hormonal issues that make weight loss difficult, if not near impossible. The VAST majority are not the Kardashians wanting to fit into a dress. Those tacky, vapid influencer-types are giving the perception that all these size 4 women are running out and taking away all the diabetes meds so they can squeeze their ass into a size 0. That's bullshit. Unless you're a doctor, keep your opinion of other's worthiness to receive treatment to yourself. You have no idea what that person's medical history is. "Mind your business" would save a lot of people from ragebait and drama created by bobbleheads on TikTok.

Phil I feel like your comments about doctors is super short sided. As a member of the Healthcare industry, patients are emboldened to demand medications and if you say no you are likely going to get beraided. Not everyone, even with education will be understanding if they are told no.

Ah yeah. Because if all the humans on the planet go vegan there definitely won’t be anything that replaces the livestock industry. Many people already need supplements to survive on a pure vegan diet. Plus, it takes less meat to get the same amount of vitamins and minerals than from plants and vegetables. I agree about the food waste though, as someone who’s worked in the restaurant industry it’s straight up disgusting the amount of good food that’s just thrown away every day. As far as I’m concerned, we’re probably all screwed no matter what we do. Ima just move on and try to enjoy this shitty life the best I can. Cheers.

Hey so about your comment about doctors feeling pressured by their patients to prescribe certain drugs. I agree it sounds stupid but it's due to WebMD and it's knockoffs being so accessible and easily misused, pharmaceutical commercials all over on TV/internet and especially anti-vaxxers becoming emboldened and mainstream, if doctors don't say what people what they want to hear, or don't take their "research" seriously, they are much more inclined to get a second opinion or 3 until they find what they want. Expert opinion isn't taken as seriously as it should be anymore, normal people are being "empowered' to make these serious, potentially life-threatening decisions with little or no information from unbiased, third party sources. It would be great if: a) doctors didn't have to think about money when dealing with things like prescribing medication/making recommendations, and b) people knew they could trust the healthcare field not to be influenced/corrupted by bad actors trying to make a quick buck. But here we are, thanks Obama
