Some fishermen got quite a shock when they reeled in a 400-pound stingray while fishing in the Mekong River in Cambodia. “It confirms the existence of these big fish in this stretch of river. This is a very remote stretch of river, it’s not well studied, it’s incredibly important for fisheries and biodiversity, and it’s also a stretch of river that is under threat,” biologist Zeb Hogan told Reuters. Good to see it was released unharmed
Its actually fascinating how humans work together to help animals.
And I am glad its a think.
A Cambodian fisherman can happily released such a big stingray deserves a huge respect.
Come on finaly some cambodia news lolol i am from cambodia
Thats a very big stingray wow
That’s a weird looking lily pad
They do realize this is a baby for this species right lol
Don’t see how this is news, they catch these all the time and eat them
Surprise they didn’t eat it
Good on them. Places like this need to eat and I wouldn't doubt they thought about it
What a beautiful moment they'll all remember & cherish! Very rare is an understatement. 🙂 once in a life time moment right there those people all got to experience & witness! 🥰
Imagine that was the thing that brushed up against you or that black fog you saw in the water as a kid lmaooo
I was looking for Jeramy Wade.........
Ah yes, humans causing "devastation" to wildlife. It will never stop. At least not until there's nothing left to encroach upon.
I’m happy they let Moana’s grandmother’s spirit go
Man some of y’all be like I didn’t know this when Jeremy wade be catching this big fish!
