In this video lesson I wanted to introduce two new words to you: lento & lentää. I will also go over examples of words that contain "lento" in it and give some mini sentences that will hopefully help you remember what "lentää" means 😊 📝 Summary Lento = flight Lentää = to fly _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ▫️ S U P P O R T M Y C H A N N E L ▫️ ● Patreon: 🤍🤍patreon.com/katchats ● YouTube Memberships: 🤍🤍youtube.com/channel/UCKDSMJAKwHWEIY5YzhWyd_Q/join ● Monthly Newsletters (FREE workbooks included): 🤍stats.sender.net/forms/aAQoja/view ● Support me on PayPal: 🤍paypal.me/KatChatsFinnish?country.x=FI&locale.x=fi_FI ♡ 📷 S O C I A L M E D I A🐥 ♡ ● Instagram: 🤍instagram.com/katchatss ● Facebook: 🤍🤍facebook.com/KatChatsYouTube ● Facebook Finnish Group Page: 🤍bit.ly/2Gl5u5e 🎬 V L O G C H A N N E L: 🤍🤍youtube.com/adamLsidney?sub_confirmation=1 ▫️ A F F I L I A T E L I N K S ▫️ ╰ WISHTREND Skincare 💆♀️ - 🤍🤍wishtrend.com/?a_aid=katc... ● Varpu's Finnish Courses ✨ ╰ FREE FINNISH CULTURE CLASS: 🤍bit.ly/katchatsfinland ╰ FREE FINNISH CLASS: 🤍bit.ly/katchatsfinnish ╰ CONVERSATIONAL FINNISH CLASS: 🤍bit.ly/katchatsconversational ▫️ B U S I N E S S I N Q U I R I E S ▫️ Please don't message me about private Finnish lessons, I currently don't offer any! ♡ ✉ kat🤍katchats.co.uk _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Thank you for watching! ♥ KatChats ♥
while googling words with "lento" i found "lentokonesuihkuturbiinimoottoriapumekaanikkoaliupseerioppilas" described as the longest finnish word. is that true? would any finn even use that word in daily speech?
Spoken Finnish, sina lennät nyt tästä talosta ulos! you will be kicked out from this house now instantly! Vrt! Lentää ulos baarista.
I love your channel. Finland is so beautiful it's nature is so clean, the serenity and the people... Thank you because of you i'm learning basic Finnish and more... Take care always from the Philippines 🇵🇭.....❤️
Even in italian, "lento" means "slow", identical pronounciation.
So beautiful! ♡
who need your finnish???can use it only in your country and estland, everywhere in world people speak english.
Depending on light pollution I'll see shooting stars. I'm in Washington State, USA. Only thing we don't get to see here is Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). Have to go into Canada or to Alaska for those. Great Video, I don't think I'll forget what Lento means, I like Finnish because of the word-building aspect, and I'd like to be able to read some Finnish books that aren't in English, yet. Thanks for this video and many more I'm sure I'll be watching.
mä olin lentokentalla viimessa kuukaudessa.

I had a conversation with a guy from Finland a few months ago - it is fairly common to meet Finnish people in Sweden, and they often understand Swedish - and I spoke a few Finnish sentences in front of him, and he said that my pronunciation was very good, so that was nice to hear. I am very familiar with the general melody of Finnish, so I can pronounce it in a way that sounds reasonably natural.
Greeting from the south of Gulf of Finland, Estonia! In Estonian we have the words lend(lendu in partitive) and lendama, with exactly the same origin and meanings! How similar we are!
kiitos paljon. شكرا كثير
I just discovered your channel and I love it!! Kiitos ❤
Lennä, lennä, leppäkerttu,
ison kiven juureen.
Lennä leikkikedon kautta
Two weeks ago I finally flew to .. (Sweden)🤦🏼♀️ little change of plans but . I watched a finnish comedy play there. And ofcourse I didn't understand everything but like 25 percent at least. 👍
I have seen a number of tähdenlentot but the most memorable was when I was at a liikennevalo.
Several years ago I saw a shining green tähdenlento arcing downwards low over the horizon which disappeared behind the trees. I braced myself for a loud explosion but heard nothing. The next day the news reported that the tähdenlento was several hundred kilometers to the north from me. Many people saw the tähdenlento. It was not an omen. The world did not end, and no disaster came later.
Well, I have never seen a shooting star in my life unfortunately, and also "lento" means slow in Italian :)
