Day 8 of the tournament was one for the books! We started in Ella where we stayed at a BEAUTIFUL resort after getting engaged! Today was our cultural integration day, so Madie wore a traditional Sari and Kyle wore a sarong. We stopped at the 9 arches bridge before driving a few hours to the infamous B-35 highway that is notorious for seeing wild elephants! Why the flowers are good to offer?
Its not just a blessing, its a meditation. You are suppose to chant and contemplate the following when we offer the flowers.
"We offer the flowers to the Buddha. By the blessing of this offering, may I be free (from the clinging/ unnecessary attachments)
This flower will eventually turn pale, dry-out and die, which is the true nature of things. It is the same reality for our bodies, which will eventually see the destruction"

These elephants are quite used to humans and are only looking for food. However, your encounter with the "lone elephant" in an earlier video was an extremely dangerous one.
